Me & About Malaysia

My code name is RodulphTheRed, a pure blooded Filipino. This is my first time to do a blog. I've been working here in Malaysia since 2007 until now, I'm thinking that it's time for me to share about the good place's here in Malaysia and the Malaysian culture itself. And also maybe I'm going to share some life experiences and some things to ponder. (", I will also cover my beloved country Philippines. What can I say about Malaysia? Hmmm, well for me, Malaysia is a country that different races and cultures are blend together... From people, nice beaches, beautiful islands, Metropolitan City, and some traditional village. You name it and I think they all have it! I think Malaysia has everything for everyone. It's simply amazing and Awesome! 

Malaysia is one of the richest country in Southeast Asia, no doubt about it! The culture here are great, the places to visit here are amazing, the environment, nature's view, their virgin forest is quite unique - like Taman Negara National Park, Mount Kinabalu, Langkawi Island, Cameron Highlands, Redang Island, Genting Highlands, Penang Island, Kuala Lumpur and many more.. Hopefully, Malaysian government can take care of it, till the end of time..

If you want to go for holiday & vacation in Asia, for me the country Malaysia is a best place to go.. Why? Because everything is great here.. Great Places, Great Food, Great culture, and maybe I can consider they also have a great beaches like Philippines. I think what I'd like most here and the most important is that Malaysian maintain the Peace and Insurgency, so people and tourist here are safe to go. And I think the country of Malaysia is Blessed in terms of natural calamities, I've never experience such strong typhoon and earthquakes.      

I've been working here for almost 8 years now, I think I love Malaysia! Nice people, nice food, nice slang.. Haha! I Love You LAH, Malaysia. BOLEH! Nice what?! ('',)

It's time for you to know and to love Malaysia. Malaysia is a bubbling, bustling melting-pot of races and religions where Malays, Indians, Chinese and many other ethnic groups live together in peace and harmony. Their multiculturalism has made Malaysia a unique country and  a gastronomical paradise and home to hundreds of colourful festivals. It's no wonder that we love celebrating and socialising. As a people, Malaysians are very relaxed, warm and friendly. 

Geographically, Malaysia is almost as diverse as its culture. 11 states and 2 federal territories (Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya) form Peninsular Malaysia which is separated by the South China Sea from East Malaysia which includes the 2 states (Sabah and Sarawak on the island of Borneo) and a third federal territory, the island of Labuan. 

One of Malaysia's key most attractions is its extreme contrasts which further add to this theme of ‘diversity’. Towering skyscrapers look down upon wooden houses built on stilts while five-star hotels sit just metres away from ancient reefs. 

Rugged mountains reach dramatically for the sky while their rainforest-clad slopes sweep down to floodplains teeming with forest life. Cool highland hideaways roll down to warm, sandy beaches and rich, humid mangroves. 

For a great holiday and if you want a full of surprises, the time is NOW. Lets go the place's and it's Malaysia.
